About
Divith Shetty is a Director and Writer, distinguished by his passion and expertise in filmmaking. Armed with a Bachelor’s degree in Filmmaking from the prestigious Deviprasad Goenka Management College of Media Studies, Mumbai, Divith started his journey in the industry as an assistant director under the mentorship of acclaimed directors such as Vasan Bala, Aseem Latkar, Anand Karir, and Sangram Naiksatam.
His early career saw him contribute to various advertisement campaigns as an Assistant Director, including iconic brands like Tata Play, Policy Bazaar, and ICICI, as well as crafting compelling digital shorts for platforms like Pocket Change Films. Drawing from his diverse experiences, Divith transitioned into writing and directing, leaving an indelible mark with his creations.
Notable among his works is “Hello Sharmaji,” an acclaimed short film that garnered international recognition and awards, showcasing Divith’s narrative and directorial finesse. His documentary short, “Gateway Storytellers,” further solidified his reputation, earning screenings in festivals across London and the USA. As a Writer Divith Has also Worked on Multiple Advertisements like Tata Motors Recent EV Pickup Trucks Launch Campaign.
Beyond his film projects, Divith’s creative talents extend to music videos, and other short films, reflecting his versatile skill set and innate storytelling ability. His journey is marked by a deep-rooted love for cinema, cultivated since he was 5, through a vast collection of hundreds of CDs and DVDs.
Prior to fully immersing himself in the filmmaking industry, Divith successfully ran the social media agency “ShettMedia,” and Shot Commercials for Local Businesses demonstrating his entrepreneurial spirit and marketing acumen when he was in school. Today, he stands as a testament to his unwavering dedication to his craft, collaborating with esteemed production houses and talented individuals to bring captivating narratives to life.
Currently, Divith Shetty is actively engaged with Triumph Writings, contributing his creative vision to multiple web series and film concepts as a Writer and some as a Director. His partnerships with renowned industry figures underscore his commitment to pushing the boundaries of storytelling and leaving a lasting impact on audiences worldwide soon.
